Web Developer – Intermediate

Security Clearance Requirement: Active DoD Secret

Salary Range: $90K – $105K

Job Description

Nexagen Networks is seeking a skilled Web Developer – Intermediate to support the design, development, and maintenance of web-based applications and websites in support of mission-critical initiatives. The ideal candidate will analyze user requirements, implement web content and functionality, optimize performance, and ensure security and scalability. This role includes designing user interface features, site animations, and visual enhancements, while supporting organizational strategies related to external communications and future web-based technologies.

Position Responsibilities

  • Understand user requirements and translate them into technical specifications

  • Design, create, and modify websites and web-based applications

  • Develop new software applications and enhance existing systems based on specifications

  • Identify and resolve software defects through testing and debugging

  • Ensure functionality, performance, and security through ongoing maintenance and updates

  • Design and enhance user interface features, site animations, and visual elements

  • Develop applications supporting current and future web-based technologies

  • Create and maintain documentation, including user guides and technical documentation

Qualifications

  • BA/BS with 5+ years of experience OR an Associate degree with 7+ years of experience

  • CompTIA Security+ certification is required

Preferred Skills

  • Demonstrated experience with software development fundamentals including object-oriented design, data structures, dependency injection, testable code, and algorithms

  • ASP.NET

  • Visual Studio Code
